The First step to becoming a member is Registering through Forumotion on our website. You will need to verify by clicking on the link sent to your email.

Once your form is reviewed you will receive a pm (personal message) on the website and an email. You'll start out in the Creative Seed group and be added to other groups if applicable. Each group has access to different areas.
By submitting the Membership form, you agree to follow the Creative Canvas Guidelines :
1. All Members agree to respect staff and other members. This includes following all guidelines, listening to staff instruction and requests, and using appropriate language. (Art of all forms are an exception for language in moderation if sensible)
2. Anything on or in Creative Canvas property including anything on Creative Canvas websites, all posts, and other materials are property of Creative Canvas and are protected by Copy-write Laws. It is each member's responsibility to know the applicable laws of copy-write infringement. Any person or persons who share / take/ use / copy Anything without written permission will be reported to law enforcement and punishment may include fines and incarceration. Persons involved will also be de-activated as a member immediately and permanently.
3. Anything posted, written, or shared on Creative Canvas websites must be authors' or artists' original ideas, including all words, work, and all Artwork and Writing. Members who have used other ideas, art, or anything that belongs to another person must include information about the original author and source. Any Member found to have used non-orginal ideas, works, or art will be de-activated as a member immediately and permanently. They may also be reported to law enforcement.
4. Creative Canvas wants all members to feel comfortable. Do not post anything that may offend, trigger, or hurt someone in any way in the regular posting areas. The art forums will have slightly different rules because we also want Artists to feel open to share Art that expresses feelings that may include triggers or be offensive in some way or matter. We do understand this, so only in the Art Sharing Forums will any of this be allowed. However, Members must include a caution warning in the Title and Top of their post. Members will use the following initials in any post that may even slightly offend, trigger, or hurt in some way:
*TW* for any visual art, writing, or anything else that might be sensitive material. A good rule of thumb is whether you would let a 10 year old see or read it.
5. Administrative Staff will make the final decision on whether anything needs to be altered, moved, include a trigger warning, or removed. Please remember that Staff is here to keep everything calm and in order. When something is changed on one of your posts- you are not in trouble nor have you done anything wrong. It simply is about keeping everyone comfortable.
6. You must be 17+ to be a member.
Parents who have children may submit their Art, including poetry, drawings, paintings, music, and any other art form, in the submissions section in the Children of Members Art Forum using their own member account. The adult member must post it and not let anyone under 17 have access to the Creative Canvas Member Sections.
7. Any member who submits anything in "Submissions to Publication" form are giving permission for Creative Canvas to print their work in the Yearly Publication. Members understand that not all submissions will be printed in the Publication. Members will be notified via PM if their work is going to be in the Publication. Members must also submit the release of art form. All directions will be Announced in the Submissions Forum.
Creative Canvas Reserves the Right to Change the Guidelines for Membership at any time without notice.
