2016 Publication
We are accepting submissions for the 1st Annual Publication of Member Creative Arts, Personal Stories, and Resources! Please read all information in the Announcement posted. Submit any creative & original work including poems, collages, paintings, photography, lyrics, graphic art, short stories, memoirs, and anything that represents expression, healthy living, growth, and Healing. We must educate communities about the effects of Trauma and how long they last so individuals can take action to learn the signs, report incidents, and protect children.

First of all, A Great Big Welcome and Thank you for taking an interest in Creative Canvas!
We have started as a small group from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for Art! Our Board of Directors Staff include a retired U.S Marine, A Social Worker, A Pre-School Teacher, and Two Students working on becoming a Psychologist and to work with Disabled Adults. Our names are Ashley, Jenny, Howard, Kristi, and Katie and you'll be able to read more on our Staff Page. We are all Survivors of Severe Child Abuse who want to continue helping others!

We have decided to Create this Community for several reasons Including:



  • To share Poetry, Stories, Drawing, and Any Other Art or help others create art to share with members and the option to publish art in a Book



  • To maintain a non-jugemental community of members and staff for Friendship and Support 



  • To bring awareness to our communities of the Long-Term Effects of Abuse and Educate others about how to prevent, recognize, and help others who have been through harship



  • To Share resources and Empower Individuals to Live their fullest potential and reach their Goals



  • To Promote Wellness, Healing, and Hope with the Help of Various speakers, doctors, articles, and webinars
