Welcome to Creative Canvas of Hope! We are a Non-Profit Organization Positively impacting Individuals and Communities with the help of Professionals & Proven Scientific methods, Individuals from all over the world, and Passionate Volunteers joining together with a Huge Vision of Hope, Healing, and Healthy Living!
If you are visiting for the first time you may not see much- First you'll need to register to formation. Then review our guidelines and submit the Membership Form which you can find on the top menu, side bar, or in the forum with forms.
We are currently working on becoming an official non-profit and your donations will be tax-deductible! We will update everyone on our main website (soon to be announced)
Our Missions at Creative Canvas include supporting as many members as possible! We already have helpful resources and will continue to add more, as many as possible with the donations we receive. We are striving to promote Awareness and Educate others around the world about Abuse and the long-term effects of Trauma. We are working with another organization that helps adults converse at age-appropriate levels and activities to practice in case a child is put in a dangerous situation. There are resources for adults who work with children to recognize abuse, learn the process for reporting, and everything necessary to keep children safe. We want to make these materials more readily available and have communities take better responsibility of protecting our children.
Creative Canvas is a supportive, Non-Judgemental, Respectful, and Welcoming environment. We have supportive Forums for many topics including getting to know each other, peer support, conversations about everyday issues, areas for sharing healing journeys, and more! They help to gain insight, learn important skills, start healthy relationships, and talk to others whom have had similar experiences to relate, support each other, and heal together. In our Workshops there exists the opportunity to learn skills to deal with hardship, relationship difficulties, the long term effects of abuse including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociation, Anxiety, Depression, and other mental health issues, and other topics depending on what members would like to work on.
We have different types of meetings, some for community interaction and projects, activities for expression and learning, others with speakers to promote healing and healthy lives, how to deal with symptoms, and other topics that members request. We hope to expand to Illinois, Arizona, and California soon; then to New York and as many states as possible.
There will be webinars (online workshops and meetings) for members around the world to participate in activities, listen to speakers share information about healthy living and productivity, and professionals to share the latest information and scientific findings about what is helpful.
We plan to have private chat rooms for members discussions and workbook studies about different issues and helpful healing topics
We have forums to share Artwork, share different skills, and areas for members to teach other members skills such as knitting, or anything they want to share.
We also invite members to submit and/or work on our yearly publication which includes all Art forms including poetry, drawings, paintings, collages ect, personal memoirs and healing journeys, Inspirational articles, and information to Educate, inform, and Help others both in our community and around the world. Our Board of Directors have also added the option for Members to Submit their childrens' art- we think this will help individuals grasp the causes for which we are promoting and fundraising.
Anyone is welcome to join one or all of the aspects of Creative Canvas. Whether you need a good supportive community, want to help others, or just want to see what this is all about- we welcome you with open arms. We only have 2 requirements; that you be 17+ and that you follow our guidelines based on respect.
Thank you for your support, we appreciate all tax-deductible donations which go towards maintaining and expanding resources for our members, as well as programs to Prevent Child Abuse and issues decided upon by our Board of Directors! Please donate by clicking on the Donation button on the sidebar.
